Qur’ān Memorisation

“The one who recites the Qur’ān and learns it by heart will be with the noble righteous scribes.”

– The Prophet Muḥammad (peace be upon him)

Qur’ān Memorisation (Ḥifẓ)

Al-Nimra School offers one-to-one Qur’ān memorisation (ḥifẓ) classes to those willing to undertake this noble task. As with the reading and recitation classes, Al-Nimra School aims to deliver traditional knowledge using modern educational means. While elements of memorisation will be proactively encouraged during reading and recitation classes, Al-Nimra School’s memorisation classes will be tailored to the needs of individual students.

Under the close tutelage of our expert teaching staff, students will progress at their own pace and level of proficiency. Since memorisation classes at Al-Nimra School are offered on an optional basis, parents and students will be able to decide the pace of desired progress.

Starting with short chapters, such as Al-Nās and Al-Zalzala, students will progress to medium-length chapters from Al-Bayyina to Al-Shams and then from Al-Balad to Al-Infiṭār. Some students may choose to focus on memorising particular chapters, such as Yā Sīn and Al-Wāqi‘a.
